Home Watch meeting

7pm Wednesday 24th February

Lewis Carroll Centre

You are invited to the relaunch of the

HOME WATCH SCHEME FOR HATTON

There have been a number of recent incidents in Hatton which makes

it an ideal time to launch the scheme

The Police and Police Commissioner for Cheshire, as well as our PCSO Steve Parr

, will be there to hear your views and provide advice.

The meeting will also provide a forum for discussing other important issues in the village, such as speeding.

Being aware and helping to report anything out of the ordinary can help to keep Hatton safer, but we need to know what you see as issues, so please come along on Wednesday 24th February

Operation Shield is the DNA marking system for equipment in homes that Steve Parr rolled out in the Village last year.  There is going to be an upgrade to this system available soon, that again Steve will be offering to us.

Proud of Hatton? We should be!

Lots of people help in many different ways to make Hatton what it is! They don’t ask for or expect for thanks or praise. However sometimes it is nice for their work to be recognised. The Parish Council enters Hatton each year to the Community Action Competitions and this year we did really well!

Roger Dickin attended the Cheshire Community Action Awards Evening on behalf of the Parish Council and HVPIG on Thursday 15th October in Ellesmere Port.

Hatton was awarded:-

  • Runner –Up In The Best Kept Village (under 400 population).
  • Highly Commended in the prestigious Community Spirit Award.
  • Little Gem for our Bus Shelter.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone!
